Tokyo, Japan, October 1, 2024 — MIXI, Inc. has confirmed that information recently announced about its smartphone app MONSTER STRIKE was intentionally posted on social media before it was shared through official MONSTER STRIKE channels.
We sincerely apologize to our users and everyone involved for the inconvenience and concern this has caused.
We are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the cause of this matter. We are also preparing to take strict action, including filing a request for disclosure of information to identify the person responsible for the leak. Such leaks undermine the moments of joy of everyone who has been looking forward to the service, and we will not tolerate them under any circumstances.
We take this matter seriously and will work to prevent a recurrence by reviewing our information management framework and other measures, while striving to restore trust. We will also continue doing our utmost to ensure that all users can use our services with peace of mind.
