Tokyo, Japan, April 15, 2025 — MIXI, Inc. announces that in March 2025, it made ChatGPT Enterprise*¹, the enterprise generative AI service provided by OpenAI, LLC (CEO: Sam Altman; hereinafter, “OpenAI”), available to all employees*²
ChatGPT Enterprise is an AI model with advanced natural language processing capabilities that helps transform business processes and drive the creation of new businesses. The use of this service will accelerate the development of new services and improve the efficiency of internal operations, helping further enhance corporate value.

■Why We Adopted ChatGPT Enterprise

Guided by our Purpose of enriching communication and inspiring moments of joy, we provide communication services that people can enjoy with the people closest to them, including friends and family, and have delivered new value to many users over the years.

In recent years, as digital transformation (DX) has advanced rapidly and the importance of generative AI has grown, we have enhanced our internal environment and adopted new technologies by subsidizing the cost of ChatGPT Plus*³ and by developing and introducing Chat-M, our in-house AI tool for text generation. In addition, to promote the active use of generative AI across all areas of our business, we established the DX Promotion Group as a company-wide cross-functional body. Through this initiative, we have aimed to increase productivity in each division and create even better innovations that surprise people. These efforts have led to broader use of generative AI among employees.

To achieve further business growth, it is essential that we adopt more advanced AI technologies. We also determined that generative AI should not be limited to a few departments and that we need to build stronger momentum through company-wide adoption. We have therefore decided to make ChatGPT Enterprise available to all employees.

■Key Initiatives with ChatGPT Enterprise in Place

Through company-wide adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise, we will primarily accelerate innovation and improve productivity.

Creating Innovation:
We will leverage ChatGPT Enterprise’s advanced language generation capabilities to generate ideas for new services and products. Specifically, we aim to pursue innovative business initiatives, including AI-powered game development and design, as well as delivering new forms of added value to the customer experience.

Improving Productivity:
Across all departments, we will optimize business processes by leveraging ChatGPT Enterprise. Specifically, we will promote its use in a wide range of tasks, including automating inquiry handling, summarizing and translating internal documents, and improving the efficiency of user data analysis and monitoring. This will enable employees to focus on creating new value and development, leading to higher productivity.

■Future Outlook

With support from OpenAI, we will work to develop advanced AI talent by implementing educational programs and strengthening our internal support structure so that all employees can use generative AI effectively. In addition, by combining our in-house assets with AI, we will drive innovation in communication services and contribute to realizing a richer society.
