MIXI Adopts Google Cloud’s Google Agentspace Across the Company
Company-wide AI Agent Deployment for Cross-Organizational Use of Internal Information and Greater Productivity
Tokyo, Japan, July 7, 2025 — MIXI, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has introduced Google Agentspace, Google Cloud’s enterprise generative AI platform, for all employees*¹.
Google Agentspace is a platform that combines Google’s high-quality search technology with its advanced AI, Gemini, to enable integrated use of internal company information, including natural-language information retrieval, task automation, and content generation. By introducing this platform, we will further improve operational efficiency while fostering new innovation.
Background to the Introduction of Google Agentspace
As business transformation through generative AI rapidly advances, we have been promoting company-wide use of generative AI since 2023. We have also actively introduced and operated multiple tools across the company and within individual departments, and we continue to pursue efforts to improve operational efficiency. In some departments, employee usage of generative AI tools has reached 100%, and adoption in day-to-day work is progressing rapidly.
At the same time, responding flexibly to constantly changing business needs requires an environment that supports more advanced, cross-functional use of AI. In particular, information across the organization is often scattered across various cloud services and internal systems, and identifying and making use of the necessary information can require significant time and effort. Establishing a mechanism for efficiently leveraging these distributed information assets will not only improve employees’ operational efficiency, but also enhance productivity across the organization and help build a stronger knowledge base.
Against this backdrop, in March 2025, we obtained Google Agentspace licenses for a portion of our employees and launched a pilot program. With technical support from Google Cloud, we have been evaluating agent design and use cases suited to our internal needs. As a result, we concluded that consolidating company-wide information would create a unified knowledge base and could significantly improve operational efficiency, and we decided to roll out the platform to all employees.
With this implementation, we will further improve operational efficiency by enabling employees to build and use AI agents tailored to their work tasks.
Future Outlook
Going forward, we will strengthen our support framework tailored to employees’ skill levels so that all employees can use Google Agentspace effectively. With the support of Google Cloud, we will deepen practical knowledge through internal training and workshops and promote the development of internal AI leaders. At the same time, we will improve productivity across all departments, develop new AI-powered services, and enhance the communication experience.
