MIXI Earns Its First B Score in the Climate Change Category of CDP 2025
Tokyo, Japan, December 19, 2025 — MIXI, Inc. is pleased to announce that, in CDP’s 2025 survey, the Company earned a score of B in the Climate Change category for the first time. CDP is an international nonprofit organization engaged in environmental disclosure. In addition, in the Water Security category, to which the Company began responding this year, it earned a score of B-.

■CDP Evaluation Overview
CDP scores are assessed on an eight-level scale: A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, and D-. The B score we earned in Climate Change and the B- score in Water Security are both classified at the management level. This indicates that our efforts have been internationally recognized as demonstrating an understanding of our environmental impact and putting sound environmental practices into action. We began responding in the Climate Change category in 2022, and our score has risen four levels from last year’s D.
■Our Initiatives in Both Areas
・Climate Change
We recognize that the impacts of climate change could pose a medium- to long-term management risk, and we have further strengthened our governance framework by assigning directors responsibility for promoting sustainability, including environmental initiatives. In addition, we have continuously disclosed our greenhouse gas emissions data for Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and this year we worked to further improve transparency by providing more detailed disclosures. We believe these efforts led to this evaluation.
・ Water Security
Starting this year, we have expressed our support for the TNFD recommendations and, in addition to assessing the impact of our business activities on biodiversity, newly disclosed related information such as resource use, including water, and waste emissions. We believe this recognition reflects our efforts to identify water-related risks and impacts and to ensure appropriate understanding of the situation and disclosure of information.
Going forward, we will continue working to reduce our environmental impact, assess the impacts of climate change and our impact on nature and biodiversity, promote related initiatives, and provide appropriate disclosures, thereby contributing to the realization of a sustainable society.
