Supporting initiatives to develop the next generation of talent through a corporate version of the hometown tax donation system

Tokyo, Japan, February 19, 2026 — MIXI, Inc. has received a letter of appreciation from Osaka Prefecture for its donation to the Osaka Prefecture Innovation Creation Fund made in 2025.
Today, Osaka Governor Hirofumi Yoshimura presented a certificate of appreciation to MIXI representative Koki Kimura in a ceremony held at the Osaka Prefectural Government Office.

This donation was used for initiatives promoted by Osaka Prefecture, such as those aimed at supporting startups for putting new technologies into practice.

Through these initiatives, efforts are being made to build an environment where the younger generation who will shape the future can learn and take on challenges, including by promoting information education for high school students and other students across Japan and creating learning opportunities that harness creativity and technology.

Osaka Prefecture has established an Innovation Creation Fund to support the social implementation of new technologies and services showcased at Expo 2025, as well as the creation of new innovations by startups and other businesses based on emerging technological seeds. In support of this initiative, MIXI made a contribution through the corporate hometown tax donation program.

Going forward, we will continue to balance our business activities with contributions to society as we support the learning and aspirations of the young people who will lead the next generation. As always, we strive to create value that connects people, society, and the future.
