MIXI Receives the “Medal With Dark Blue Ribbon”

Supporting the next generation and revitalizing local communities through sports and the corporate hometown tax donation system

Tokyo, Japan, March 23, 2026 — MIXI, Inc. has received the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon in recognition of a donation made to Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, in fiscal 2024 through the corporate hometown tax donation system.
Today, a ceremony was held at Funabashi City Hall, where Mayor Toru Matsudo of Funabashi City presented a certificate to MIXI representative, Koki Kimura.

This donation was used for the following initiatives promoted by Funabashi City to support the next generation and revitalize the local community.

– Operating funds for the executive committee of B.LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME 2025 IN FUNABASHI
– Activity funds for the Pro Sports Collaboration Promotion Committee

As part of these initiatives, efforts are being made in collaboration with the professional sports teams based in Funabashi City, CHIBAJETS and KUBOTA Spears Funabashi Tokyo-Bay, through youth-oriented events, public watch events, decorations near the train station, and community cheering projects, with the aim of invigorating the local community and fostering the next generation.

In Funabashi City, sports promotion through public-private collaboration is considered to be a pillar of community development, and the city is advancing projects that span sports, education, and local culture. MIXI supported this initiative through the corporate hometown tax donation system, helping drive efforts to create new value together with the local community.

We will continue to foster meaningful connections between people through sports and promote initiatives that work hand in hand with local communities. Through our Sports business, we will help build a society founded on connection with meaning.
