MIXI launches the comprehensive media project “MEDIAMIXI”
First guests include top industry leaders, Tomoko Namba (DeNA) and Kentaro Fujii (TBS)
Tokyo, Japan, April 1, 2026 — MIXI, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the comprehensive media project “MEDIAMIXI” today. MEDIAMIXI delivers content that captures current events and the future of society from multiple perspectives. We share this content through an online news site covering the latest information in areas like entertainment and technology, a YouTube channel specializing in a wide variety of topics, and a radio program featuring key figures from business, entertainment, and politics.

To mark the launch, we sat down for a conversation with Tomoko Namba, Representative Director and Chairperson of DeNA Co., Ltd., and appointed her “MIXI’s Chairperson for a day.” The feature is available on the “MIXI Sub-Channel” YouTube channel and on MEDIAMIXI web news.
In addition, the first guest for our radio program “MEDIAMIXI with interfm” (starting April 7) will be Kentaro Fujii. Kentaro has directed many popular TV programs including “Wednesday Downtown” on TBS. As for our web news, we will publish on-site reports from overseas conferences like SXSW, as well as feature reports directly from New York.
Project Background
Under the Purpose of “Enriching communication and inspiring moments of joy,” MIXI provides spaces and opportunities for truly meaningful connections in the areas of Sports, Lifestyle, and Digital Entertainment. Leveraging our expertise in fostering human connections, we have launched MEDIAMIXI as a comprehensive media project designed as a new hub for creating deeper, more dynamic dialogue with society.
In this project, we will build a close connection with society through deep insights in text articles, visual storytelling in video, and dynamic dialogue on the radio. Our media platforms work in harmony, whether delving deeper in print to unpack buzz generated from our radio program or exploring the same topic from entirely different angles in articles and videos. By cross-leveraging these platforms, we will create a novel media experience and pioneer new ways to enrich communication.
