Tokyo, Japan, April 2, 2026 — MIXI Global Investments, Inc. (MGI), a wholly-owned corporate venture capital subsidiary of MIXI, Inc. that invests in global startups with a focus on India, launched LVLZero Tokyo, an accelerator specializing in global expansion that provides practical support for the challenges of emerging Japanese game developers aiming to expand into global markets. LVLZero Tokyo has begun accepting applications as of today (April 2, 2026).

■ About LVLZero Tokyo

LVLZero Tokyo is a practical program specializing in global publishing, aimed at bringing Japanese indie games to the global market. It promotes the creation and release of globally viable game content for emerging Japanese game developers aiming to expand into global markets.

Through “100-day mentoring”, it provides support for global expansion, including localization, trailer production, pitch improvement, and creating connections with global publishers and investors. In Phase I, it will provide an opportunity to exhibit at gamescom, which will be held in Cologne, Germany, in August 2026.

This program does not acquire stock or publishing rights from the selected companies, and the program is run from a neutral standpoint that respects the autonomy of the developers.

Furthermore, LVLZero Tokyo has been selected as a collaborator for the 2025 fiscal year under TOKYO SUTEAM, a startup support development project created by various entities in Tokyo.

■ Background of the Program

In recent years, while opportunities for original games from indie developers/startups to be recognized in the global market have increased, accessing overseas markets has remained a significant challenge for Japanese game developers.

MGI, an overseas investment subsidiary of the MIXI Group, has been operating the game incubation program LVLZero in India in partnership with Nazara Technologies and Chimera Ventures.

LVLZero Tokyo aims primarily to contribute to the development of the Japanese game industry by leveraging the knowledge and international network that MGI has cultivated globally. It will support Japanese game developers through the challenges they face, and will do so from a neutral standpoint, without acquiring stock or publishing rights from the selected companies.

In addition, this program has been registered with the Incubation Working Group of the IGDA (International Game Developers Association) and will be run in collaboration with them.

■ Active Gaming Media Inc. Joins as a “Knowledge Partner”

Active Gaming Media Inc. will participate in LVLZero Tokyo as a “Knowledge Partner”. With expertise in indie game localization and global expansion, the company will support activities to bring Japanese indie games to the world by collaborating broadly with this program, including handling a portion of the mentoring sessions.

LVLZero Tokyo has begun accepting applications for Phase I. It is targeting Japanese game developers and startups that have their sights set on global expansion.
