Tokyo, Japan, September 20, 2024 — MIXI, Inc. has launched a dedicated alumni site to create a place where it can stay connected with former employees and strengthen boomerang hiring.

To realize our purpose of Enriching communication and inspiring moments of joy, we have established the mission of creating places and opportunities for connection with meaning. These places and opportunities for connection with meaning are the communication services we provide, and the people who make them possible are the source of our value creation and competitive advantage. For this reason, we regard human capital as one of the most important forms of capital and actively invest in it.

We have long promoted referral hiring, and in some cases, former employees have rejoined the company after being referred by current employees. Since 2022, 12 former employees have rejoined the company, as of June 2024. Some have even been promoted to department head positions after returning, and boomerang employees are thriving throughout the company.

To further advance these initiatives, we have launched a dedicated alumni site. On the dedicated alumni site, users can browse our event information and news, consult with a coordinator via chat, and receive job opportunities tailored to their experience. By building a system that enables former employees to maintain an ongoing connection with our company even after leaving, and by creating an environment that makes it easier for those who have gained experience outside the company to rejoin, we aim to further strengthen our organization.
