Tokyo, Japan, August 20, 2025 — MIXI, Inc. announces that, as part of preparations for the India launch of its smartphone game MONSTER STRIKE, it will make its first appearance at Mela! Mela! Anime Japan!! 2025 (“MMAJ”), one of India’s largest anime events, to be held in New Delhi, India, on September 13 and 14, 2025.

We are currently localizing MONSTER STRIKE to align with local culture and preferences, and we plan to launch the Indian version during FY2025. MMAJ is one of India’s largest Japanese culture events, aimed at promoting Japanese entertainment culture centered on anime to the Indian market. By exhibiting at MMAJ, we aim to create opportunities to connect with anime fans in India ahead of the launch of the Indian version of MONSTER STRIKE, while also expanding opportunities for collaboration with IP holders and local companies.

Monster Strike is a slingshot action RPG that takes advantage of smartphone technology to produce an exhilarating experience for all types of players. Quests are completed by taking turns to attack and defeat enemy monsters. Players sling their monsters with touch-based controls while bumping, rebounding off walls and other monsters. The game is characterized by its multiplayer co-op system which allows up to four friends to play together at a time. Since its launch in October 2013, it has attracted a large number of users, and as of May 2025, the total number of users worldwide has surpassed 64 million.
